Sanks, of Beusse Wolter Sanks Mora & Maire, P.A. on March 31, 2009.  Mr. Beusse is an “AV” rated attorney with an employment background in engineering and extensive experience in protection of computer hardware and software.  Both Mr. Beusse and Mr. Sanks practice in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, technology licensing, and related business matters, making them extremely well suited as counsel for our company.

Eginity has been accepted into the January 2009 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Certificate Course, which is the first step toward being accepted into the UCF Business Incubation Program. The course consists of seven evening sessions lasting three hours each, which will cover the following topics: developing successful business ideas, building a strong business team, proper legal and ethical foundations, marketing strategies and effective sales, funding and financing and entrepreneurial insights. The team members attending the courses will be Rob Allen (CEO), Alan McGinn (CTO), Steven Fiske (Marketing) and Lisa Wilde (Operations). We’re looking forward to a challenging and rewarding experience that will help us not only prepare for our future as a client of the Incubation Program, but for our success as a company and as professionals.

Eginity has entered into a commercial lease with Cornerstone-Orlando, LLC for its new downtown Orlando home at 150 N Orange Avenue. We are excited to be part of the Downtown community of businesses that span multiple industries from financial and professional services, to digital and emerging media as well as retail and entertainment. We plan to take advantage of this location by networking with many of the 65,000 professionals who work in the area, and by utilizing all of the valuable resources nearby such as the Disney Entrepreneur Center, the Small Business Development Center and the future Creative Village, which is set to redevelop a large portion of Downtown into a thriving business community.
